Our Advisors

The Advisory Board is made up of professionals who act as advisors to the Managers of The Paint Exchange by contributing their personal and/or professional expertise. The Advisors are non-compensated contributors who do not have an official role in any corporate matters or governance. The Advisors are not officers, directors, fiduciaries or voting members of the Company. While the Managers of The Paint Exchange may consult with the Advisors from time to time, the opinions and recommendations expressed by the Advisors are non-binding and the Managers may decide any issue as they fit in accordance with the Company's Operating Agreement regardless of any input made by any Advisor or the Advisory Board.

Michael E. Resler

Advisor

Mr. Resler brings over twenty eight years of business development, proposal management, and program management experience in the Federal sector. His experience includes three years as owner of a business development consulting firm; 17 years as a defense contractor performing business development, program management, and engineering services; and eight years in the Civil Service as a program manager and project engineer. He has led proposal efforts to the U.S. Navy, SOCOM, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, and U.S. Army. Mr. Resler has performed capture and proposal management for many of the top defense contractors for the U.S. Department of Defense and is a founding member and immediate past President of the board of directors for the Charleston Defense Contractors’ Association.

Daniel J. Holwerda

Advisor

Mr. Holwerda, an associate with the law firm Fennemore Craig, practices in the area of real estate law, with primary emphasis on commercial real estate lending representing both borrowers and lending institutions, loan workouts and restructuring, foreclosures, real estate acquisition and sale transactions and office and retail leasing. Mr. Holwerda received his law degree from Michigan State University College of Law with a concentration in Corporate Law. While at Michigan State University College of Law, Mr. Holwerda received the Book Award for secured transactions and completed an internship with the corporate legal department at Comerica Bank. Previously, Mr. Holwerda served as an associate with Rayndon & Associates, PLC (formally Rayndon & Longfellow, P.C.) focusing his practice in the area of real estate law, corporate law, business planning, limited liability company law, private offerings and commercial transactions.
